Feel IT - by ADM 11/2006

Feel IT von ADM/Intertechnik2 way, bass reflex speaker with Eton Air Motion Transformer and Eton Hexacone bass driver. This kit, designed by Udo Wohlgemuth, was the winner in a shoot-out published by Stereoplay, special edition 11/2006.

Excerpt of the review in ADM 11/2006, quoting the Steroplay shoot-out:

... "While the competitors were described as "ideal for soft volumes and for rooms up to 20 square meters" and characterised as "being workhorses rather than a aesthetes" the Feel IT could claim all glory by accumulating as many positive attributes as possible. Bass was as low as with all the others, but the maximum volume was achieved with just one driver while the loudest competitor needed two 17 cm woofers. In the special edition of Stereoplay 11/06 Wolfram Eifert wrote: "The IT kit with Eton drivers reproduced a beautiful, multi-layered sound over the entire frequency range, without any annoyance - on the contrary. Despite a rather slender bass in comparison, the Feel IT was particularly realistic and achieved the best musical flow. Marvellous, how true to life and easy-going this speaker got cracking, without loosing control. That makes the Feel IT the ideal kit for connoisseurs. The sound is diverse and composed. A dream for small valve amps." His verdict: "This IT kit is a real DIY titbit even for the most discriminating ears, and that they are fun goes without saying." Logically, the Feel IT deserved to be winner of the shoot-out."
